Due to the life-threatening nature of food allergies, and because snacks are eaten in the classroom, not the lunchroom, we strive to eliminate exposure to food allergens.  All classrooms must be peanut/nut free.  Please click on the link below to see the list of approved snacks and only send snacks on this list.

Snack Protocol for Elementary Schools 2023-2024

• All snacks must be nut free
• Snacks to be checked by the classroom teacher or ESP 
• If there is ambiguity, the snack will be replaced and sent home with a note 
• Hands will be washed prior to eating and after snack
• Desks/tables will be cleaned prior to and after eating
