Videos

Below are videos that teach a variety of social skills.  You can have your child view them, and then have a follow-up conversation about the topic.  The language that your child hears in the videos is the same as what they hear when they are at school.  For example, "safe space" is a child-friendly way to talk about what we know as social distancing.  Social skills involve not only the learning of the skill, but the application of it.  As your child learns new skills, encourage and reinforce their use of those skills in social situations.  That feedback helps them learn what is and is not expected in different situations.
